The New Jersey Meadowlands are often ignored by people speeding by in their car or train. I have always thought this area was intriguing with its mash-up of nature and industry.
The marshes, rolling hills, migratory birds intersected by speeding trains, bridges, roads and antennas lined up like soldiers. Even the debris, when it is eroded by the wind and water, blends into the patina of the landscape.
I explored the lesser traveled parts of this area, and with the right light I hoped I revealed its beauty.
