Since time immemorial, artists around the world have looked to nature to penetrate the mysteries of the universe and to make sense of and organize the world around them.

Although multiple generations of fellow artists in their respective cultural traditions have been largely reiterating the techniques established by their ancestors to create works inspired by nature, each participant of this exhibition found new ways to engage with the theme or introduced innovative elements into already established media.
