‘Touching from a Distance’ is the second exhibition curated by Workplace Foundation, a charity based in the North of England supporting emerging and under-represented artists based outside of London and with a focus upon the North.
Taking its title from a line by Ian Curtis in Joy Division’s song ‘Transmission’, the exhibition brings together works by Nina Chua, Daniel Davies, Jennifer Douglas, Louise Giovanelli, Mick Peter and Nicola Singh to examine notions of touch and measure through haptic awareness, performative action, value and memory.
