Diane Rosenstein Gallery is pleased to announce "Shape of Things", a solo exhibition of oil paintings by Damien Flood. Damien Flood, who lives and works in Dublin, Ireland, combines abstraction, gesture and form into a visual language that is repeated throughout his poetic paintings.

The works in this exhibition were made during recent residencies in Paris and in Los Angeles, and they are a melancholic celebration of his experience. This is his first solo show with the gallery.

Damien Flood is a painter based in Dublin, Ireland. At the core of his work is an interest in how we see and experience the world. Flood is interested in the disconnect between the world we inhabit and the one within our minds. His work is grounded in early writings on philosophy, theology, alchemy and the natural sciences and explores the mutability of 'reality' and language.
