This new body of work explores the west coast of Scotland and its ever changing weather systems, delves deep into mysterious forests and takes us to sun-baked cityscapes and dilapidated palazzi.

This exhibition charts a progression in Knubley’s stylistic technique. Whilst still underpinned by the structural quality resulting from her distinctive use of oil and wax with a wide range of palette knives and scrapers, she has developed a marked painterly touch to evoke something intangible.
