Marlborough Graphics is pleased to announce an exhibition of graphic works by Paula Rego. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, November 29th from 6- 8 pm, and the show will run through December 29th, 2018.

This exhibition features a selection of prints from various stages of the artist’s career. It highlights a few of her most famous series such as Nursery Rhymes, O Vinho, Peter Pan, and Prince Pig. Simultaneously playful and sinister, Rego’s prints often draw upon classic stories originally intended for children.

Paula Rego: Prints coincides with the solo exhibition at the Musee de l’Orangerie, Paris, The Cruel Stories of Paula Rego, which runs through Jaunary 14, 2019. Rego has been the subject of several major exhibitions in the last decade, including retrospectives at the Tate Liverpool and at the Gulbenkian in Lisbon.
