Hancock Shaker Village stands as living testimony to a successful utopian movement that had its beginnings in the 18th century… and a revivalist Shaker community that practiced the highest principles of communal life: spirituality, innovation, craftsmanship, responsible land stewardship, nonviolence and reverence for all.

The Village invites its visitors to connect with the highest aspirations of Mother Ann and her Believers - and there is a true spiritual light that continues to inhabit that place where they dwelled.
