HG Contemporary is pleased to present the work of recognized French artist, CÉVÉ, her first solo exhibition in NYC, consisting of 9 series of limited edition sculptures entitled “Young Forever” inspired by the original creation “Teddy’s”, distinguished by their 5 different colors and 3 different sizes. All pieces have been meticulously designed and assembled in France. This collection merges CÉVÉ’s legacy of luxury French craftsmanship with the innocent touch of childhood.

The red version of the largest creation, Red Moon, is on display at the Baccarat Hotel in New York City.

CÉVÉ was born in Paris in 1951. She specializes in contemporary sculpture and is recognized easily by her style - the pureness of the line and the soft smooth bronze she beautifully creates. She considers that a sculpture should not only be looked at, but it should make the art-lover feel like he or she is actually feeling it...

Renowned sculptor, CÉVÉ is a member of jury and curator for many exhibitions in France and around the globe. In the past ten years, she has taken part in more than 100 exhibitions. She was invited to expose as an exclusive artist nine times and she received 27 distinctions.

In 2013, CÉVÉ was named Chairman of SNBA - the Sculpture Department of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts - first female artist to gain this responsibility. In 2014, she entered the Daubigny Museum (Auvers-Sur-Oise, France) and in 2016, the historical Pompon Museum (Daubigny, France) for a solo exhibition. CÉVÉ permanently exhibits at four galleries in France: Art Gallery Joel Dupuis, Hardelot (62), Art Gallery Temps del Arts, Praz-Sur-Arly (74), Art Gallery “Trois cerises sur une étagére”, Paris 6 and Art Gallery Memorial de Montmartre, Place du Tertre, Paris 18.

Having an elevated presence internationally with art collectors and clients, 2018 marks the most essential path in the artist’s career - expanding her works to regions of China and USA. Founder and owner Philippe Hoerle-Guggenheim will be hosting her first solo exhibition taking place October 11th - November 7th in New York’s renowned HG Contemporary Gallery.
