Bo.lee gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition by internationally acclaimed Installation Artist Rebecca Louise Law. Known for her colossal site-specific installations that encompass the interiors of public spaces worldwide, Law is motivated by the transience and preservation of nature. Her floral installations are designed to last indefinitely with each individual element sewn using copper. The physicality and sensuality of her site-specific work plays with the relationship between humanity and the natural world.

For the past fifteen years, Law has gathered the dried remains from every artwork she has made. DUST will be an archive of these floral fragments that have previously been exhibited across Asia, America and Europe. In celebration of nature’s course from birth to death, Dust offers an alternative concept of beauty that is about both holding on and letting go.

The daughter of a gardener for the National Trust, Law is the sixth generation to work with flora, first discovering it as her medium during her degree in Fine Art at Newcastle University in 2003. She has since exhibited her installations worldwide, at sites including The Toledo Museum of Art and Chandran Gallery, USA (2018), Shirley Sherwood Gallery at Kew Gardens, London (2017) and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London (2015).
