his is our fifteenth year of celebrating children’s art here at the National Galleries of Scotland so don’t miss seeing the 53 outstanding winning works from nursery, primary, secondary and special education schools all over Scotland. Themes this year include: A Place to Live; Cats; Makers of Magic; Energy and Hair, Fur and Feathers.

The winning entries from the 2018 Tesco Bank Art Competition for Schools are on display at Modern One as part of NOW. Over 7,000 children take part in the competition annually, enjoying the opportunity to get creative in the classroom and to indulge their imaginations and artistic flair.

Working in partnership with Tesco Bank, this programme encourages children all over the country, to engage with artworks from the National Galleries of Scotland collection and to be inspired to think imaginatively and creatively. The standard of work was extremely high and we are pleased to present the winners at this years exhibition.
