The Royal Photographic Society will show an Exhibition of Scientific Photography through September 29th, 2011; the event will take place at the Fenton House, The Society’s Headquarter in Bath, United Kingdom.
The Society is an educational charity, who promotes art and science of photography. The art of photography is well displayed by the number of exhibitions, such as documentaries, portraiture, and landscape; but the likelihood of seeing an exhibition of scientific photography is low. The Society’s last show of scientific and applied photography was in London in 1974.
Scientific photographers, researchers, engineers, technologists, and scientists from all over the world are invited to submit their images, as they will be selected for the exhibition.
