C.A.V.E. Gallery is pleased to present an impressive new collection of work by Dutch artist, SIT.
The exhibition will showcase work from the “Haiiro” series, which continues the artist’s examination of our increasingly visual and fast paced society, where technology depletes active human experience and continues to fuel human obsession with appearance and materialism.
SIT creates monochromatic images that appear in transition – void of color – fading from an ethical reality due to humanity’s endless quest for more. At the same time, the artist employs a vocabulary of pixelated forms that create a tension and dynamic energy in the work – provoking questions such as, are the figures blurring into banality or are they fighting to regain wholeness?
Haiiro No Kaze is SIT’s third exhibition with C.A.V.E. Gallery. His artwork has established an international base and has also been exhibited in Hong Kong, New York, Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona and Stockholm.
