And by "curious," I don't mean strange or weird. No, I mean intellectual curious, someone with a lot of questions and is eager for knowledge.

And I sense several of these items are explored through the process of painting. Whether it is portraits of Cult Icons, imagery from the Vietnam war or translating press photography into oil paintings, they all are curious about how this world works.

They will probably not give you the answer to the ultimate question, but perhaps they will induce new ideas, or lead to exciting topics worth discussing. After all, it is this who lead our lives forward.
