The monetary value of a work of art is not the ultimate measure of its integrity: the market is a poor judge of merit. Every year we strive to present 21 paintings — all priced under $21,000 — each of which would be a worthy addition for even the most discerning collector.

All of the paintings we have selected are by artists whose work is included in important museum collections.

Although reasonably priced, each has met our standards for condition and frame quality. The artistic excellence of these works clearly stands in opposition to the prices assigned to them.
