Exploration is in our nature. We began as wanderers, and we are wanderers still. We have lingered long enough on the shores of the cosmic ocean. We are ready at last to set sail for the stars.

This 15,000 square foot exhibit presents the basic science of spaceflight. Featuring NASA's Full Fuselage Trainer (FFT), the exhibit takes an in-depth look at the many ways Shuttle astronauts trained for their missions. The NASA’s Full Fuselage Trainer (FFT) was used by every Shuttle astronaut as part of their mission training.
Four interactive educational sections surrounding the FFT tell the broader story of how the Space Shuttle program and the International Space Station have helped us understand how to live and work in space and what the future of spaceflight could look like.
