Following a tremendously successful first summer, we are bringing Mini Golf at the IMA back for 2017. Bring your family for a whole summer of putt-putt fun featuring brand new holes and familiar favorites. This year, we invite you to explore the “Natural World” with holes centered around animals, geology, and bodies of water. Some of them will remind you of your own backyard, full of cardinals and squirrels, others will take you on an exciting African safari, and others are more educational focusing on important issues like climate change and pollination.
That’s right, this year’s course will be fun and educational. Dreams do come true at the IMA.
Come putt past lions and through glaciers. Learn about honey bees and the White River watershed. Take a stroll through prairies and along canyons. You might even forget you’re at an art museum.
Artists from all over the country have created the 18 holes this year, including some of the artists who made mini golf such a big hit last year. Come see their hard work, enjoy an evening with friends, and celebrate summer at the IMA.
Like last year, IMA members get exclusive access to mini golf and can play all summer long. The 18-hole course is included with general admission and open during regular museum hours, May 26 through September 4.
