The Fine Art Society, Edinburgh, presents an exhibition of black and white works by 15 British artists from two centuries: from Alexander Runciman (1736-1785) to Peter Doig (b.1959). The selection will include pencil and charcoal drawings, etchings, oils, watercolours, pen works and photographs.
The exhibition will also include a group of Herbert Ponting’s famous Antarctic photographs which he took as the expedition photographer for Robert Falcon Scott’s Terra Nova Expedition to the Ross Sea and South Pole (1910-1913).
