Maddox Gallery, Mayfair is delighted to present Retrospective, the gallery’s first anniversary exhibition, opening 28 November 2016. Celebrating twelve months at their flagship space on Maddox Street, the gallery will host a mixed show featuring new and recent art from some of the most popular artists in Maddox Gallery’s portfolio.
Highlights will include work from New York based contemporary painter Bradley Theodore, whose 2016 sell-out solo exhibition Son of the Soil at Maddox Gallery was one of the year’s contemporary art success stories. Also featured will be British painting sensation Chris Moon and London based collage artist Robi Walters, Los Angeles based international art star Retna, Italian painter Simafra, Hollywood photographer Tyler Shields, who debuted his new body of work Decadence at Maddox to much fanfare in February 2016, Michael Moebius, famed for his modern day Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe portraits, acclaimed British painter and ceramicist Dan Baldwin and emerging favourite Finn Stone.

Highlights during the gallery’s first twelve months in addition to the successful solo shows for artist Bradley Theodore and photographer Tyler Shields, have been an acclaimed joint show from British artists Chris Moon and Robi Walters and an exciting Frieze week solo exhibition for contemporary artist Dan Baldwin. The gallery also collaborated with the Colombian Embassy to host critically acclaimed conceptual painter Pedro Ruiz and was proud to host the incredible Art on a Postcard Secret Auction, raising money for the Hepatitis C Trust.
