Victoria Grant’s unique couture hats and bespoke headpieces adorn both high society and high fashion superstars, and have appeared on countless magazine covers worldwide. Now Café Royal is bringing some of her wonderful creations together in an exclusive exhibition marking London Fashion Week, bringing together fashion, art and fame in true Café Royal style. Victoria Grant’s Hat Hall of Fame will see 16 of her most show-stopping pieces, displayed within the hotel right alongside the images and the superstars that made them famous.
From “Regalis”, a stunning crown made for Rihanna, to “Midnight Rambler”, a lace trimmed top hat worn by Lady Gaga, and “Diamond Tears” a glittering eye piece made famous by Madonna, the collection will be displayed in the Ten Room, the historical entrance of the hotel and within The Club, the private members club situated within Café Royal, giving guests and members the exclusive chance to view some of the designers pieces and beautiful photography against the luxurious backdrop of one of London’s finest hotels.
The Exhibition will include a special couture piece by Victoria entitled “Ziggy Stardust”, to honour and commemorate the late David Bowie, who celebrated the success of his album Ziggy Stardust at Café Royal itself in the early 1970s.
Victoria Hall’s Hat Hall of Fame is part of Café Royal’s annual calendar of special events and collaborative exhibitions supporting both cutting edge innovation and fine tradition.
