Le Dame Art Gallery at Meliá White House is delighted to present the new exhibition Floating Bodies by Laura Zeni. The exhibition is displayed from the 5th September in The Trafalgar foyer at Meliá White House, and will run for one month.
Floating Bodies explores the interaction between the human conscious and subconscious, mirroring the continuous internal exploration human beings experience in their life journeys. Focusing on the complexity of human behaviour – on both an individual and collective level- Laura Zeni’s latest work gives pictorial shape to the internal web of human feelings.
Laura Zeni uses a range of artistic styles, such as drawing, painting and sculpture to create thought-provoking representations of human psyche and behavior. Floating bodies, and configurations of shapes and fine threads illustrate the fragile network of relationships and map the importance of external interactions and the function of the mind in its interpretation and processing of stimuli as a cause of action.
The Floating Bodies exhibition presents a collection of intriguing visual representations of our innermost feelings. Laura Zeni engages the audience in a dialogue around self-perception, the external environment and choice, and urges us to explore our minds and to become aware of feelings and balance in our ever-changing world.
Le Dame Art Gallery will be holding a special event on the evening of 15th September, with the artist present, where four additional works will be displayed in the main gallery.
This exhibition is sponsored by Triphylla.
