We are delighted to announce our forthcoming exhibition ‘Young Masters: Dialogues’ at renowned Old Master Gallery Sphinx Fine Art. This curated exhibition carefully juxtaposes Old Master works from the Sphinx Fine Art collection with contemporary work by Young Masters artists 2009 – 2014 and new guest artists including both established artists and recent graduates from leading London art schools including the Royal College of Art, Royal Academy Schools and Wimbledon College of Arts.
Artists include: Amy Hughes, Annie Kevans, Bartholomew Beal, Charlie Moxon, Carlos Jimenez, Charlotte Piper, Chris Antemann, Derrick Santini, Dijan Kahrimanovic, Durbin Lewis, Eleanor Watson, Elisabeth Caren, Elise Ansel, Emilie Taylor, Fabiano Parisi, Felicity Hammond, Ghislane Howard, Isabelle van Zeijl, Juergen Wolf, LLuis Barba, Maria de Lima, Matt Smith, Oliver Jones, Rebecca Fontaine-Wolf, Red Saunders, Richard Saja, Rosie Emerson, Shane Wolf, Yigal Ozeri.
Traversing genre, medium and time, this exhibition questions and celebrates the role of the past in contemporary art. With an international scope, this exhibition brings together works by artists from across the world and from a range of cultural backgrounds. Surveying a wide range of contemporary approaches to art history, through both associative pairings and direct dialogue with a particular work in the Sphinx Fine Art collection, intriguing connections and dialogues arise, creating a thought-provoking exhibition.
All works are available for sale, and profits are reinvested into the initiative to allow us to continue to support young and emerging artists. The exhibition is curated by Daisy McMullan (MA Curating, Chelsea College of Arts).
