Set on the slopes of the Cotswold escarpment, Gallery Pangolin is one of the few galleries to specialise in sculpture and related works on paper. Over the past twenty years the gallery has established a reputation for works of quality and excellence by Modern and contemporary artists.
‘Lazy, Hazy, Crazy’ celebrates the season in all its glory with a themed mix of sculpture, prints and drawings.
Visitors to the gallery will enjoy the ‘bathing beauties’ including Lynn Chadwick’s bikini-clad ‘Reclining Figure’ and Sue Freeborough’s larger-than-life-size sculpture ‘Mrs Midas’ relaxing in the sun.
For gardeners and nature-lovers we have Nick Bibby’s exquisitely detailed ‘Watersnail’ and ‘Toad’ and Michael Cooper’s serene white ‘Pelican’.
‘Bucket + Spade’ by Cockings & Hodge and Abigail Fallis’ painted bronze ‘Cod ‘n Chips’ are both joyful reminders of long sunny days at the seaside.
Other highlights include Jon Buck’s ‘One Can’t, Two Can’, straight from his oneman show at Pangolin London and shown at Gallery Pangolin for the first time, and Hamish Black’s expressive ink drawings ‘Back 2’ and ‘Side 13’.
