The Geffrye Museum’s vibrant annual celebration of ceramics returns in September, bringing together the work of 50 potters from across the UK- a mix of leading names and rising talents - in a riot of colour, styles, textures and techniques.
An exciting array of work will be on sale, from classic homewares and lighting to ornamental and quirky one-off pieces. Delicate porcelain will be shown alongside earthy stoneware and cool white glazes will contrast with colourful painted vessels and pots. Prices range from £10 for smaller pieces to several hundred pounds for large-scale creations.
Throughout this relaxed and friendly event, visitors can meet the makers, browse, buy, watch and take part in demonstrations by featured potters. Free ceramics-inspired creative workshops for children and families will take place during the weekend (see below for event details).
