Panter &Hall are proud to present the 16th annual Scottish Show, a vibrant and diverse exhibition showcasing works by a selection of Scotland’s greatest modern and contemporary painters.

“Since 2000, our Scottish Show has sought to reflect the breadth of talent and creativity emerging from the Scottish art scene and our own stable of Scottish painters. With each year, the exhibition continues to flourish in terms of size and reputation, yet maintains its original aims of presenting a wide and varied survey of Scottish art.

For this year’s show, we have carefully selected works by over 40 artists, united by a shared nationality, yet unconfined by genre, style or era. Works by reputable contemporary Scottish painters including Chris Bushe, Donald MacDonald and Audrey Grant, comfortably sit alongside paintings by late 20th century heavyweights including Donald Hamilton Fraser, Alberto Morrocco and David McClure. While some works border on abstraction, others are intensely photorealist, signifying the exciting stylistic variety of the Scottish art scene.” - Tiffany Panter & Matthew Hall
