The Biennale 2015 will be presented at the Chelsea Old Town Hall. A building of a considerable importance, that was designed in 1885 by architect John Brydon, Scottish architect who also won the competition for the enlargement of Bath Guildhall. The Wren-like design of the exterior makes way for the exquisite Victorian style of the inside rooms. This elegant venue set in King’s Road is the perfect stage for this celebration of art due to its connection with Chelsea, the artistic hub that in the 19th century was able to greet Victorian painters such as Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Joseph Mallord William Turner and James Abbott McNeill Whistler.

The Chelsea Old Town Hall, from the 20th to the 25th January 2015, will be a celebration of international contemporary art and a special event for lovers of creativity and aesthetics.

In 2013, London Art Biennale was a great success, acclaimed by the public and by international art critics. The selection of 140 artists from as many as 40 different countries represented twenty-first century art in all its styles, expressions and forms. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Tillmann Sachs, the president of the Rotary Club of Kensington, an organisation that gathers business leaders in order to provide humanitarian aid, and during the inauguration there was a charity auction. Amongst the lots of the auction, there was an artwork by pop art artist Andy Warhol and Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani, donated by the Gagliardi family. Nicholas Bonham, heir of Bonham’s Auction auction house established in 1793, one of the world's most prestigious auctioneers of fine art, conducted this charity event.

Thousands people enjoyed visiting the exhibition, including the Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea, Councilor Christopher Buckmaster. The Biennale also included numerous collateral events, such as the river cruise across the Thames on the Elizabethan, the boat that Kate Middleton’s family had used during the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The 2015 edition will once again offer the opportunity to admire wonderful international art and maybe a few unexpected surprises.

This year, the Biennale will present artists from all around the world, from China to Brazil and from New Zealand to Sweden. To name a few, Jose Van Roy Dali’, who participated in the recent Spoleto Art exhibition inaugurated by Vittorio Sgarbi, the most important Italian art critic. Child prodigy Aelita Andre from Australia will be participating, artist that can be seen on all major news stations from CBS, Al- Jazeera, Sky etc. Luciano Iannucci with his awe inspiring assemblages. Daniela Grifoni, artist that participated in the Rome Triennial.

The Biennale 2015 will be a wonderful exhibition that will gather art lovers from across the capital and talented artists from all around the world.
