The gallery will host a reception for Steven J Levin on October 2nd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The exhibition will remain on view to the public until November 1st.

Steven J Levin is a mid career artist from Minnesota. He was classically trained and has established an enviable reputation as one of the standout realist artists working in the US today. Levin has been featured in prestigious galleries and museums in New York, Chicago, London, China, Florida, Cape Cod and this will be his eighth one man show with Pence in San Francisco. He has become a pivotal player in the resurgence of the American Realist Movement. and is widely admired and respected by his fellow artists.

Levin is a colorist whose work is known for a keen sense of space, dimension, atmosphere, and challenging subject matter. The exhibition is comprised of a wide range of subjects including still life, figures, portraits, landscapes and interiors, including his studio and the interior of New York’s Metropolitan Museum.

Throughout his 30 year career to date, he has won numerous awards and prizes on a worldwide stage, few realist artists have garnered so many honors as has Levin.
