Slow evolution around a form of visual language or audio, Anaïs Chabaneix and Noëlle seek in the choice of materials and objects, to make something we touch visible and at silencing an audible sound ... Retain or suspend a gesture, a word. Contradictory associations on the existence of a thing.

By strange and contradictory associations in materials and references mentioned they play on reversals of sense and paradoxes, for highlight the complexity of our perception.

Noëlle’s works asks a question from different angles the relationship between the signifier and the signified, in the heart of codification.

Starting with rhythmic variations, color and materials around the square / pixel without "hidden meaning" these works provide an opportunity for those who watch them get reappropriated a unique sense, by the play of light and a glazes related to the position of the observer.

Noëlle's work draws its inspiration from its experience of restorative. That is based on his love of technical, craft, knowledge of the properties of matter and its desire to find in the work the traces the gesture of the fabrication.
