Graphic Studio Gallery is pleased to launch our annual summer exhibition, showcasing over 65 new framed works from individual studio members and gallery artists.

A diverse range of printmaking techniques can be seen including etching, linocut, drypoint, carborundum, lithography and mezzotint from artists such as James Allen, Sophie Aghajanian, Ruth O’Donnell, David Lunney, Niamh Mac Gowan, Stephen Lawlor among others.

This exhibition will also feature the new works by two of our studio’s 2014 Visiting Artists: Belfast-born John Kindness and Keith Wilson, resulting in a show that celebrates contemporary printmaking by artists from both sides of the border.

John Kindness is a painter, sculpture and multi-media artist whose work often contrasts material, image and reference in an unusual and often humorous way.

Keith Wilson’ landscapes capture the essence of a place, while exploring the surrounding environment. As in his paintings, there is a stillness and tranquility to Wilson’s work in his intricate use of line and choice of colour palette.
